The aim of the 5th “Baltic Business and Socio-economic Development” conference organised by Baltic Business School at the University of Kalmar and Hochschule Wismar – University of Technology, Business and Design is to bring together academic and other specialists from business and socio-economic development knowledge and experience.
The conference will provide an opportunity to discuss issues related particularly to the assessment of socio-economic development in the ongoing period of changes in global processes and business environments in this region as well as effects on the economic and financial situation of SMEs.
The conference will enable participants to exchange knowledge on socio-economic conditions of regional and business development as well as providing solutions. Participants will be able to find national and international contacts that promote active development of future co-operation within joint projects and research.
Topics of the conference
The conference welcomes submission of papers in the following fields which will be looked upon from the perspective of the ongoing economic crises and how it will influence global processes:
