Executive Education programmes at the Baltic Business School (BBS) are designed to address and provide actionable learning for individuals that quickly translates into sustainable results for companies. Additional, the programmes enhance individual management skills and the ability to learn to apply newly developed competencies for corporate advantage.

 

 

 

Core Competencies The Executive Education programmes at BBS offers continuing professional development and training within a wide range of topics, where business administration is the core. Our areas of expertise are:   • Leadership • Organisation • Entrepreneurship • Marketing • Project management • Management control     High Flexibility BBS offers custom designed programmes for individuals and/or groups located at the client’s organisation, at BBS´s campus, as distance education or as a combination of campus and distance education. The Executive Education programmes ends with a diploma ceremony.     Case References The Executive Education of Chinese officials and leadership training for executives-to-be in the Country Council of Kalmar are two case references among several previous commissions.   The overall purpose of the Executive Education of Chinese officials was to enhance their capacity and make them better prepared to establish and develop business relationships in the Baltic Sea Region. The programme lasted for ten days and was interpreted to Mandarin.

 

 

The programme included subjects like:

• Historic account and reflection of the development of our society

• Government and economy

• Modern economic management, modern government administration and ”Scandinavian Management”

• City planning, construction and management

• Harmonious development between economy and environment

• Implementing public policy: Leadership and human resource management

• International trade and business opportunities in Kalmar and the Baltic Sea Region

 

Leadership training for executives-to-be in the Country Council of Kalmar will last over one and a half year and is part of a trainee package for executives-to-be in the Kalmar Country Council. The programme especially deals with problems concerning leadership in political governed organisations.
